About Personal

I have a solid understanding, and variety of experiences (11 years) & skills related to agricultural sector, such as teaching & co-supervision (graduate, master, PhD level students), crop field & laboratory research, acquisition of research grants, research project handling (Project Cycle Management), budget management of project, human resource management, reporting to the funding agencies/stakeholders, development and management of collaborations (provincial/national/international), managing relationship with key internal and/or external stakeholders & Agricultural farming community, agricultural credit/financing & mobilization. Furthermore, I have a broad interest for natural biological control, natural enemies field reservoir (NEFR), conservation of natural enemies, insect ecology, plant-insect interaction, intraguild interactions, chemical ecology and biological control of Aphids and Invasive Insect Species especially Brown Marmorated Stink Bug (Halyomorpha halys). I use natural enemies, especially parasitoids and hyper-parasitoids, as model study organisms. I am particularly interested in tri-trophic and four-trophic terrestrial food webs. I am also interested in the role played by insect-associated symbionts in plant-mediated interactions. Currently I am involve in research project regarding control of major Cotton Insect Pests such as Pink bollworm, Whitefly, and Mealybug, Sugarcane pests such as top borers, and Fruit flies of mango and guava through "Natural Enemies Field Reservoir (NEFR) Technology".
