Greetings, I am Subash Janakiraman. I am currently pursuing my post-graduate diploma in Agri-Business management at Massey University. I have a keen interest in dairy farming and agriculture. I am very enthusiastic towards dairy farms, and I would like to kick-start my career in the dairy industry. Eventually, I chose New Zealand as my educational destination. Currently, I am seeking internship programs that could help develop my skills and knowledge about the dairy industry. During my undergraduate (bachelor’s in agriculture engineering) course – for my project work, I have done a successful implementation of a Hydroponic setup for fodder crops. I have done a 30-day internship at the Aavin dairy unit in Tamil Nadu, India. I observed the raw milk collection, Zero-day transportation, Pasteurization, and Packaging processes and developed my knowledge of the dairy industry. As part of my current course, I got an opportunity to attend a Farmer's catchup conducted by DairyNZ. This farm visiting experience helped me to get a basic understanding of New Zealand farms, extension procedures, and farm practices. Currently, I hold a valid Student Visa until 23/07/2024, After my course completion I am eligible for an open work visa for 1 year. Visa copies and other documents can be given upon request.
