My research experience includes an insightful undergraduate dissertation on "The Effect of Financial and Marketing Services on Shea Butter Production in the Tolon District of Ghana," contributing valuable insights to the field. In terms of relevant work experience, I have been an intern at the Global Shea Alliance (GSA) and the Ministry of Food and Agriculture (MOFA). At GSA, I provided bookkeeping training, drafted business plans, and educated cooperative leaders on shea production. My time at MOFA involved typing reports, participating in demonstrations, and conducting field visits for research purposes. My involvement in the Big Sam Innovation Hub as Membership Director showcases my leadership and organizational skills. I managed the membership database, led communication desks, and significantly increased membership during his tenure.
With skills in computational and statistical analysis using software packages like STATA and SPSS, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and proficiency in English, Safianu is well-equipped for diverse professional roles. I have actively participated in conferences such as the Youth in Agriculture Festival and the Developing Youth Ecopreneurs Conference, demonstrating my commitment to staying informed and engaged in relevant industry discussions.
Safianu is a member of the Agribusiness Students Association of Ghana (ABSAG), showcasing his dedication to networking and collaborating with peers in his field.
