Recently, I completed my Ph.D. in Food Science and Technology (Biorefinery group) at the Autonomous University of Coahuila Saltillo, Mexico. Ph.D. work is based on bioethanol production from microalgae (Spirulina platensis) biomass cultivated by using 2nd and 3rd generation biorefinery bio-residues.
In addition, I earned to accrue nearly 3.3 years work experience. I had the privilege of working for Indian Oil Corporation Ltd, R&D center, Faridabad, Haryana, India, served as a Project Associate for multidisciplinary research teams, majorly I worked on scale-up and integration of the process converting waste CO2 gases into high-value omega-3 fatty acids, biodiesel production through Lanza Tech’s gas fermentation technology, and in-house developed microalgae cultivation technology (a unique two-stage fermentation system).
I learned valuable professional skills such as: 1) Strong laboratory background in the field of microbiology, bioprocess, and molecular biology, 2) Good handling in Bioreactors (Bench top and Parallel Bioreactors), High pressure reactor and Pilot plants, 3) Good handling in Gas chromatography (GC), High performance liquid chromatography (HPLC), Residual gas analyzer (RGA), Spectrophotometer, centrifuge, and Rotavapor.
