Currently working with the prestigious TATA group' Trading Division- M/s Tata International Limited, Mumbai as Asst. Manager in the Steel Division responsible for Export and Sourcing Operations for Europe, Middle East and North Africa, UK region Customers. Am having hardcore 15 years in depth/ varied experience in : - Chlor Alkali Chemicals/ Speciality Chemicals ' Exports Marketing/ New Customer developments -Expertise in sourcing Chemicals -Handling end to end Procurement as well logistics for seamless Exports order Execution. - Imports Order execution covering all aspects of supply chain and hence want to back to my core area of Chemicals Exports' Industry KRA in my current profile are : - Managing of Export Documentation(Pre-Shipment and Post Shipment), Logistics and Trading Operations - Relationship management Overseas Office/Buyer, Overseas Charterers/ Global Freight Forwarder, Shipping Lines, Suppliers from Middle East & China. - Vetting of letter or Credit as per UCP-600 and scrutiny of International Trade Contracts issued by Suppliers / Buyers in line with agreed T & C. -Actively managing vendors to ensure that they perform in line with their contractual agreements. - Issue Purchase/Sales contract to procurement and Tata Group’ Overseas Sales offices/International Buyers. - To ensure cost effective and timely supplies through proper planning and act as contact person to internal and external customers and provide them with efficient and consistent customer service. -Support Finance team in Preparation/ amendment of LC , Vetting of International Purchase / Sales Contracts and scrutinise credit worthiness Of Global Suppliers for purchases and for New Buyers too. -Co-ordination and follow-up with Shipping lines in case of BL Switching/BL amendments etc. preparation of BL draft and Taking necessary approval. -Manage Documentation with help of Team for the smooth flow of documents from Suppliers to the final customer on a timely basis in agreed time/ as per SOP. -Monitor the Shipment schedule provided under relevant Sales Contracts to ensure obligations are met. Tracking Shipments. -Coordinate with M/s SGS, M/s Bureau Veritas for inspection and issuance of Mill Test Certificates as per Buyer country requirement. -Participate actively in Monthly SOP developments and system updating processes to enhance Productivity and increase efficiency and profitability . -Handle Claims from Customers and negotiate it with Suppliers. In past 15 years- while working with M/s HUNTSMAN International India Limited, M/s Sudarshan Chemicals Ltd., M/s Century Rayon (Aditya Birla Group Co.) -Have handled Exports of Hazardous - Non Haz chemicals both very successfully without any Hussle or damages/ single claims from M/s GACL (Gujarat Alkalies and Chemicals Ltd.), M/s MEGHMANI ORGANICS LTD, M/s GRASIM LTD, M/s HINDALCO LTD, M/s DCM SHRIRAM LTD, M/s ABCL CHEMICALS LTD.(Dubai), M/s CENTURY RAYON, M/s PETROCHEM (MIDDLE EAST), M/s GALAXY SURFACTANTS,M/s FMC Ltd.
