Nawanit Niraj is the Development Management Professional having more than 7 years of experience in livelihood promotion and women empowerment sector. He is currently Program Manager - Cluster Development at NAPL under the project 'Sustainable Livelihood Initiative' run by Grant Thornton Bharat.
Previously he was handling a World Bank and GoJ funded project 'JOHAR' as District Project Officer under Jharakhand State Livelihood Promotion Society.
He completed his Master’s (PGDM-RM) from Xavier Institute of Social Service along with Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) from Birla Institute of Technology, Lalpur.
He started his journey as Young Professional at JSLPS in Central Government's flagship program National Rural Livelihood Mission. He continued for 3 years as Young Professional.
His experience consists of grassroots work to mid-level project management in his short span of a career. He is skilled and having major expertise in Project writing, related communication, project monitoring, lead and manage MIS at project level, overall project management, proposal development, designing project communication, designing project learning/impact assessment tools, Project documentation etc.
He has experience of working with Farmer Producer Organizations, Farmers, artisan groups, women and micro-entrepreneurs and also having expertise of working with renowned agencies such as BKSL, Technoserve, ASA, UNDP, World Bank (WSP) etc.
He is passionate about Project Management, sustainable livelihood promotion, Farmer Producer Organizations and project writing. He loves to write articles and blogs on different subjects and domain.
