After spending 40+ years working in the technology portion of the ranching and agriculture industry, I have spent the past several years working in communications. My goal is to keep people informed of not only the present but also the past.
Living in the heart of Central Texas surrounded by archeological and other historical sites has given, me an unparalleled opportunity to explore and understand the history I write about. My an academic background is in History and Communications, and I have learned the importance of accurately telling the stories of those who came before.
Taking actual events out of the past and maintaining accuracy is a labor of love. I have spent countless hours and published several research papers on the cultural conflicts that took place in the early days of the Southwest.
I am the host of the Texas History Podcast, “The Hidden History of Texas” the podcast is available wherever you listen to podcasts.
The first episodes of the show have been converted in a series of Audiobooks. The first of which is, "The Hidden History of Texas 1530s to 1820s" and is now available wherever you download you audiobooks. The audiobook has been featured by Audiobooksnow.com in a campaign that is running on the FoxNews and CNN apps.
I have published a video series of courses on communication in which I teach about the basics of communication, the art of persuasion, how to communicate with other cultures, and how to resolve conflict. The courses have been converted into an audiobook and eBook entitled, "Get Your Message Across"
My book, “The Forgotten Expedition: A Search for God, Glory, and God”, is an example of my commitment to tell an accurate, albeit fictional account of life in the early days of the Southwest.
