I am Matthew Bitrus, have HND in Estate Management from the prestigious Waziri Umaru Federal Polytechnic, Birnin Kebbi, Kebbi State. I have been in the Agricultural Sector for over 10years now and have trained farmers on how to practice Good Agronomy Practice (GAP) Currently I am the Lead Agronomist in Kebbi State for the WATIH Project with Golden Agri Inputs Ltd funded by USAID. I have worked in the PRO-ACT project funded by European Union (EU), emplemented by Development Exchange Centre (DEC) and Supervised by OXFAM Nigeria and was a focal person for Farmers Field School and supervised 10 Demo Plot in Jega LGA. During this period I was able to trained over 500 farmers of compose manure which 250 farmers where able to adopt the use of compose manure. I have also worked as an Extension Agents for OCP Africa in kebbi state for the eriod of six (6) months which I trained famers on Good Agronomy Practices (GAP), and also worked as Agri Promoter for OCP Africa in Kebbi State. I have experience in aggregating of Grains and supply, I have made a supply of Grains to Thrive Agric Ltd through the sales manager who funded me for the supply of 150MT of Maize to Grand Cereal in Jos Plateau State Nigeria which I successfully carried out and 50MT to New Hope Agriculture Sagamu in Ogun State Nigeria.
