I am an expert and professional in the field of food science, nutrition, and supplements with an
extensive work background of approximately 20 years, mostly in administrative and counselling
positions, particularly at the Supply Chain Monitoring, Pharmaceutical and Controlled Substances
Department, Food and Drug Administration, a division operating under the Ministry of Health and
Medical Education, Tehran, Iran. I hold a PhD, an MSc, and a BA in Food Science and Nutritional
Science and have actively participated in quite considerable number of workshops, seminars, and
training programs thus far; meanwhile, I have also published a considerable quantity of scientific
papers, nationally and internationally, and have presented posters and papers in international and
national conferences as well. Apart from the responsibilities I have always fulfilled efficiently at my
organization and the academic research works I have undertaken so far, I have devoted my life
to health and food; indeed, as a dietitian, I endeavor to assess, diagnose and treat diet-related
and nutritional problems and raise awareness of the link between food and health at both an
individual and wider public-health level. I constantly keep myself updated on the state-of-the-art
scientific and public health research on nutrition to help people make health-conscious decisions
about their food and lifestyles. In addition to food, medicine, and supplements, I am
enthusiastically engaged in the works related to the community, learning disabilities, mental health,
public health and acute settings. Characteristically, I find myself statutorily regulated, detailedoriented, and a critical thinker, problem solver, while having excellent communication skills, both
verbal and written, and my being a multilingual helps me work more productively at an
international spectrum, as well. I am quite expedient at team-working, interpersonal skills,
motivating the others, and imparting the knowledge to the other individuals. I have attempted to
play my role in the community by cognizing the people of the devastating and harmful impacts of
wrong diets. After all, prevention is better than care.
