I have an excellent background in plant protection, especially in plant pathology like diagnosis, isolation, purification (e.g. single-sporing and hyphal tips), preservations (long-time periods), Identification, and (morphological, biochemical, and molecular methods) of fungal and bacterial plant pathogens. Also, I have six years of experience in a private company, I make field trips to diagnose plant pests and diseases, train farmers to use integrated pest management to increase the quality and quantity of production, and train farmers and agricultural technicians for the optimal application of agricultural pesticides and fertilizers. My Ph.D. study was about Fusarium spp. associated with date palm trees in Saudi Arabia and, I’ve been involved in more than one mega project concerning plant pathology in Saudi Arabia. I’ve published three papers in high-impact peer-reviewed journals out of my Ph.D. thesis. During my stay at King Saud University
