Adefemi James Orodeji is an adept professional in the field of agronomy, horticulture, and crop breeding with over 10 years of experience in food crop production and research in the grain and horticultural crops value chain. I am experienced in crop trial management, field data collection and analysis, crop varietal selection, sustainable agriculture practices, agricultural risk analysis and management, agricultural market research, and agronomic backstopping. I have successfully supervised the production of 2,000 Ha of grains, and I have provided agronomic advisory and backstopping services to different farmer groups and individual investors in the grain and horticulture crops value chain. I am well equipped with strong farm project planning and management skills, problem-solving and team management skills. In addition, I am enthusiastic, innovative, and passionate about using my technical expertise and knowledge to promote sustainable and scalable food crop production of safe and nutritious foods for a changing climate and ever-growing population. I am motivated to learn and to continuously grow my expertise and competence in new innovative and sustainable ways to produce quality foods that enhance food and nutrition security for humanity.
